Reorganizations

It doesn’t have to be lonely at the top, but it can sure feel that way when embarking on a regorg.

Reorganizing can mean small adjustments in ever-changing organizations, or large scale realignment to changing strategy. Regardless of the scale, reorgs make people nervous. My job is to be a confidential sounding board at the top, and guide the process objectively to ensure inputs have been heard and considered, people considerations are crossed with organizational needs, tough questions have been asked, elephants have been addressed, and thorough communication (formal and informal) is not an afterthought, but rather considered with military precision.

Reorganizations don’t have to be scary or stressful. They are a way to align with a strategy toward a vision, and a great opportunity for growth for individuals and for the bottom line.
