Moving to the next chapter feels a lot better when you leave your position and/or company in top shape and capable hands. Succession planning is rarely urgent, but always important. In some cases it may be a founder who has recognized that the skills that got him or her to this point may not be the ones needed to take the company to the next level. It may be transitions taking place through the sale of a company, or an ongoing need at the macro or micro level to identify and develop emerging talent. Regardless of the situation, I will guide the process, and keep it objective, thoughtful, inclusive, intentional, and on the front burner.
